Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore an ancient grotto and Hanbam Village in Gunwi, now part of Daegu. The app’s original Gunwi GID is retained; check transport and access separately for the two stops.

This guide covers places within Gunwi, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Gunwi Buddha Triad Grotto

軍威阿弥陀如来三尊石窟

This heritage site has ancient Buddhist figures inside a natural grotto. The photograph shows the triad in 2016. It does not imply unrestricted entry into the cave; respect barriers and follow on-site viewing instructions.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Hanbam Village

ハンバム村

Stone walls and traditional houses line this village in Daeyul-ri. It is a living community: stay on open village roads and do not enter private houses or enclosed property.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official tourism information introduces Hanwoo beef barbecue and bulgogi hot pot in Gunwi. These are distinct from temple cuisine. Ask about meat cuts, broth and seasonings, and confirm current menus and opening.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Tabi suggests a short look around permitted visitor areas at the first stop, followed by a break. Check transport and access separately for the other destination.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
