Getting there Check transport toward the canal center on Huimang-daero in Nam-gu
A street preserving traces of housing from the Japanese colonial period. The official page currently lists the modern history museum as closed through November 2026. Distinguish street access from indoor visits.
Getting there Plan separate transport to Guryongpo-eup, Nam-gu, from the city beach
The city guide features gwamegi as a winter food in Guryongpo. This semi-dried fish dish varies by ingredients and preparation; check seasonal availability and ingredients at the shop.
Follow marked waterfront paths around Yeongildae Beach for sea and pavilion views. Respect swimming and access signs, and avoid an outing in poor weather. Plan separate visits to the canal and Guryongpo.
