Hi, I’m Tabi!

Suwon is a Gyeonggi-do city of Joseon-era walls, a royal residence and markets. Start in one old-center area; Hwaseong Fortress is in Suwon, separate from neighboring Hwaseong city.

This guide covers places within Suwon, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Haenggung Square → nearby lanes, adding palace admission if desired. Check the map and choose a separate visit to Janganmun or Changnyongmun.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
