Hi, I’m Tabi!
Choose between mountain temples and forests in Inje. Baekdamsa and Wondae-ri Birch Forest are separate outings, rather than stops on one short walk.
This guide covers places within Inje, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Baekdamsa Temple
百潭寺
This temple in a Seoraksan valley is associated with poet Han Yong-un. The photograph shows lanterns in its grounds in 2018, not a current event. Check access transport, the last return service and open sections.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
The birch forest is on a mountainside, with an uphill approach from the information centre. Prepare suitable equipment and consider your fitness rather than treating it as a city park. Check forest-entry restrictions, weather and same-day access.

Official tourism information introduces buckwheat noodles and dried-pollock dishes in Inje. Ask about buckwheat, wheat, fish and seasonings, and confirm current menus. These are not necessarily temple meals or food sold inside the forest.
Tabi suggests a short look around permitted visitor areas at the first stop, followed by a break. Check transport and access separately for the other destination.
