This guide covers places within Ulju County, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop

Daegok-ri Bangudae Petroglyphs

大谷里盤亀台岩刻画

View prehistoric carvings on the riverside cliff from designated viewing points. The 2015 image does not guarantee today’s water level or visibility. Do not approach the carved cliff or cross the water; follow local restrictions.

02

A first-visit stop

Ulsan Petroglyph Museum

蔚山岩刻画博物館

Learn about Bangudae and Cheonjeon-ri through full-size models, films and other displays. Distinguish the actual cliff in the photograph from museum replicas. Check closing days and programs, and plan any outdoor transfer to the site for the weather.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The Encyclopedia of Korean Culture describes Eonyang bulgogi as thinly sliced, seasoned beef grilled on a wire rack. Check current menus, ingredients and prices when choosing a restaurant in Eonyang. This does not imply a restaurant immediately beside the heritage site.
