Hi, I’m Tabi!
Gangnam-gu offers royal tombs and a temple alongside tall buildings and shopping. Choose a history outing near Seolleung or the Bongeunsa/COEX area in Samseong-dong rather than combining everything in one walk.
This guide covers places within Gangnam-gu, Seoul, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Seonjeongneung
선정릉
This royal burial site includes Seolleung for King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon, and Jeongneung for King Jungjong. Explore its wooded paths quietly. The photograph shows a gate and wall within the grounds, rather than the burial mounds.
Getting there Check entrance routes from Seolleung or Seonjeongneung station
Visit temple buildings and worship spaces in Samseong-dong. Respect ceremonies and worshippers while enjoying a pause from the busy streets. The image shows Daeungjeon; access and photography rules differ within the grounds.
An indoor shopping and dining area linked to Samseong and Bongeunsa stations. Choose shops or a rest indoors, checking separate arrangements for events, exhibitions and individual facilities.
Getting there Check connecting passages from Samseong or Bongeunsa station
Seoul’s official restaurant listings include hanjeongsik in Gangnam. A Korean set meal is one dining option, not a specialty unique to this district. Check dishes, ingredients and booking requirements directly; this guide does not endorse a particular restaurant.
Try Bongeunsa station → Bongeunsa → the COEX area. Follow temple guidance and check mall entrances. Save Seonjeongneung for a separate history outing near its stations.
