Hi, I’m Tabi!

Eunpyeong-gu offers hanok neighborhoods, a temple and Yeonsinnae’s market life in northwestern Seoul. Check transport separately for Jingwan-dong and Yeonsinnae and start in one area.

This guide covers places within Eunpyeong-gu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Eunpyeong Hanok Village

은평한옥마을

A modern hanok residential neighborhood in Jingwan-dong blending traditional form with contemporary life. The photo shows winter 2023, not proof that every building is an ancient heritage structure. Stay out of private homes and yards and keep public-street visits quiet.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Jingwansa Temple

진관사

A Buddhist temple at the foot of Bukhansan offering architecture, nature and worship culture. Respect services, rites, photography and access rules. Distinguish general visits from booked temple stays and programs; this is an active religious space.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Seoul’s material introduces Yeonseo Market’s food lanes and side-dish shops. Browse meals and dishes sold on the day and check ingredients, storage and allergies. This is an everyday residents’ market; no particular shop, current discount, event or stock is guaranteed.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
