Hi, I’m Tabi!

Meet two different stone landscapes in Hwasun: Unjusa and the dolmen site. Give each its own visit and allow for travel between them.

This guide covers places within Hwasun County, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Unjusa seven-story stone pagoda and shrine in 200701

A first-visit stop

Unjusa Temple

雲住寺

Walk among stone pagodas and Buddhist carvings. The 2007 photograph shows a seven-story pagoda facing the stone shrine. Check the separate hillside approach to the reclining Buddhas, and do not climb the heritage structures.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

A large dolmen at the Hwasun site in 201602

A first-visit stop

Hwasun Dolmen Site

和順支石墓遺跡

Explore the dolmen landscape around Hyosan-ri and Daesin-ri. This 2016 image shows a large dolmen, rather than current flowers or events. Keep to designated paths and arrange transport separately from Unjusa.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Hwasun Farm, the local agricultural-products mall, features gijeong-tteok rice cakes. Check each product’s ingredients, allergens and storage directions, and ask about in-person sales.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Start on the first site’s open visitor paths, then check transport separately for your next stop.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
