Hi, I’m Tabi!

Busan Gangseo-gu offers lower Nakdong River ecological spaces and farming areas. Distinguish it from Seoul’s Gangseo-gu and arrange separate access and transport for each riverside park.

This guide covers places within Busan Gangseo-gu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

01

A first-visit stop

Daejeo Ecological Park

대저생태공원

A Nakdong River floodplain park with public walking areas and wetland scenery. Flowers and reeds vary seasonally; check roads, flooding, site restrictions and protected zones. The hero photo shows the wider Gangseo district, not this park itself.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Maekdo Ecological Park

맥도생태공원

Follow designated paths around wetlands and migratory-bird habitats. Feeding and wetland areas are restricted during migration periods. Official guidance lists bicycle rentals as temporarily suspended from May2026, so do not plan on renting there.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Busan’s agricultural center introduces Daejeo tomatoes grown in the district. Check origins, varieties and sale periods; products do not all have identical taste or sweetness. Check ingredients and storage separately for fresh produce and processed foods.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
