Hi, I’m Tabi!
Kakamigahara offers park breaks and local food. Start near the station at Manabi no Mori and Park Bridge; plan separate transport to the river park in Kawashima.
This guide covers places within Kakamigahara, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Manabi no Mori
学びの森
A park created on the former Gifu University site. Enjoy lawns, ponds and a ginkgo-lined path; leaf colors and seasonal events vary by date.
Getting there Approach from Meitetsu Shimin-Koen-mae or Kakamigahara-Shiyakusho-mae station
A timber building between the civic park and Manabi no Mori, with terraces, rest spaces and food shops. Check separate entry rules and closures for indoor play facilities.
Getting there Approach from the nearby Shimin-Koen-mae or Shiyakusho-mae stations
A park complex with waterside scenery, leisure and rest areas. Check separate charges and opening information for the aquarium or wheel; this is a different area from the station parks.
Getting there Check transport to the park in Kawashima Kasadacho
Kakamigahara kimchi is characterized by local carrots and pine nuts. Gifu’s official guide also describes dishes using it. Check spice levels and allergens such as pine nuts before choosing.
Try Shimin-Koen-mae station → Park Bridge → Manabi no Mori. Check indoor entry separately and pause by the trees; save the river park for another outing.
