Hi, I’m Tabi!

Discover Taisho Roman no Yakata’s architecture and Oike Park’s waterside scenery. The park campsite is suspended and is not part of an overnight itinerary.

This guide covers places within Yabuki, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

01

A first-visit stop

Taisho Roman no Yakata

大正ロマンの館

A restored building reused after earthquake damage. The town lists a first-floor café and upstairs study and meeting spaces. Check operating or booking conditions for your intended use.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

Oike Park, Yabuki, in April 201202

A first-visit stop

Oike Park and Ayuri Pond

大池公園・あゆり沼

The photograph records spring scenery in April 2012. A September 2026 town notice continues the campsite suspension because of hazardous trees. Do not plan to camp; check current access and visit only permitted areas.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Consider Li-Li CAFE on the building’s first floor for a break. The town lists this café, but confirm current menus and opening days directly. Distinguish building access from dining requirements.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Check the building first and plan a separate transfer to the park. Exclude the Oike campsite and walk only on paths confirmed open locally.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
