Maezawa Magariya Village
前沢曲家集落
Thatched L-shaped houses introduce life in a snowy region. Residents still live here; respect private areas and photography guidance, checking winter closures and visiting areas.
Getting there Plan onward transport from Aizukogen-Ozeguchi station
A shrine associated with the Aizu-Tajima Gion Festival. A regular visit does not include the seasonal procession; check current event and worship guidance.
A festival dish example; not a shop endorsement or a current menu or price guarantee.
Official guidance introduces Tateiwa soba. The photo is a mori-soba example from Minamiaizu’s 2014 new-soba festival, not a menu photo of a Maezawa shop. Check buckwheat ingredients and seasonal availability.
Walk within Maezawa’s visiting area, respecting homes and checking museum opening and onward transport. Save Tajima’s shrine and castle site for another outing.
