Hi, I’m Tabi!
Start with food and information at Atsukashinosato, then learn about Kunimi’s historic earthworks. Distinguish the hilltop observation tower from the barrier remains.
This guide covers places within Kunimi, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Kunimi Atsukashinosato roadside station
道の駅国見あつかしの郷
A roadside station with shopping and dining facilities. The April 2017 photograph records the building around its opening period, not the current tenants or menus. Check today’s operating information.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Remains of earth defences associated with the Oshu campaign. The photograph shows the Nishi-Oeda section in August 2021. Keep out of the separately closed Atsukashiyama observation tower and visit only open parts of the remains.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
The roadside station’s official guide lists a Kunimi burger and gelato counter. Consider a local burger for a light meal, checking varieties and ingredients on the current menu. Fruit desserts also vary by season.
Ask at the roadside station and plan a separate transfer to the remains. Use open visitor paths and leave the closed Atsukashiyama observation tower out of your itinerary.
