Hi, I’m Tabi!
Toho in Fukuoka offers mountain, rock and arch-bridge scenery. Explore Iwaya Shrine and views of Hoshuyama Bridge; this is not a walking route onto the bridge’s traffic corridor.
This guide covers places within Toho, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Iwaya Shrine
岩屋神社
The shrine’s main building sits beside a large rock, shown here in August 2019. Watch for steep stairs and wet rock, stay in permitted worship areas and do not climb the rocks.

Also called Narao Bridge, this concrete arch bridge now carries BRT services. The photo dates to August 2019, before that conversion. View it from safe public areas and stay off its dedicated roadway and private land.

Michi-no-Eki Koishiwara features local produce, terraced-field rice and processed yuzu products. Check seasonal availability and dining menus, and browse the area’s pottery too.
