A first-visit stop

Suwaazuki Shrine

須波阿須疑神社

This historic shrine is also known for the Inari great cedar deeper in its grounds. Keep to the permitted approach and protect trees and buildings. A decorative panel replaces a photograph that lacked sufficient resolution.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Near the bridge, Soba no Sato Ikedaya lists oroshi soba with grated daikon among its dishes. Check current closing days. Its official notice says soba-making experiences are unavailable in October and November.
