Hi, I’m Tabi!
At Mount Fuji’s northern foot, Narusawa offers lava caves and village produce. Begin with the ice cave or roadside station and plan separate transport for the shrine.
This guide covers places within Narusawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop
Narusawa Ice Cave
鳴沢氷穴
Explore a lava cave with ice and rock walls. The photo shows ice in March 2020, which may differ from current conditions. Check entry rules for its low, narrow passages.
Getting there Check buses toward the ice cave from Kawaguchiko station
A roadside station with visitor information and agricultural products. Pause for the scenery and browse local vegetables; availability varies by season.
Getting there Check transport to the roadside station on Route 139
A shrine connected with village faith and traditions. Its long stairway calls for an outing suited to your ability and the weather. Respect worship spaces and check event information.
Getting there Check the approach from the Yogan Jukei-mae bus stop
The roadside station’s official guide features local highland vegetables and blueberries. Consider seasonal produce or processed goods as a small gift, checking availability, ingredients and storage.
Base your outing around the ice cave entrance and check the return bus. Do not connect caves through unmarked forest paths. Children under four or below 100 cm cannot enter; carrying children on your back or in your arms is also prohibited.
