Hi, I’m Tabi!

Minobu is a mountain town in Yamanashi with Minobusan temples and temple-front town culture. Begin slowly in one area around the temple.

This guide covers places within Minobu, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop

Minobusan Kuonji Temple

身延山久遠寺

Discover temple architecture and worship traditions. Long stairs and slopes require care; check alternative approaches and the inclined elevator’s current operation. The cherry-blossom photo shows spring scenery.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Kuonji Sanmon Gate

久遠寺三門

A large gate on Kuonji’s approach, within the same temple district. View its architecture from public areas while respecting worshippers and passage. Interior and upper-floor access should not be assumed.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The town introduces yuba made by heating soy milk, and dishes using it, as local specialties. Check ingredients and storage conditions for fresh or processed products, and ask establishments about availability. Check soy allergies.
