Hi, I’m Tabi!
Nerima brings ponds, trees and botanical stories into Tokyo’s residential neighborhoods. Begin with Shakujii Park or Makino Memorial Garden for a quiet outing.
This guide covers places within Nerima Ward, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Between ponds and trees
Shakujii Park
石神井公園
A park centered on Sanpoji and Shakujii ponds. Choose a shaded or waterside path for a gentle walk; each pond has its own atmosphere.
Getting there Approach from Shakujii-koen Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line
A metropolitan park with lawns and trees spanning Nerima and Itabashi wards. The photo shows Yurinoki Plaza on the Nerima side. Choose one area for your walk.
Getting there Approach from Hikarigaoka Station on the Toei Oedo Line
A garden associated with botanist Tomitaro Makino. Explore trees, seasonal plants and memorial exhibits, checking exhibition and closure information first.
Getting there Approach from Oizumi-gakuen Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line
Nerima retains farmland within the city and has traditions around Nerima daikon and seasonal produce. If you find local products, check their origin and availability; not every shop carries them.
Try Shakujii-koen Station → the ponds in Shakujii Park. Take waterside breaks, and plan Hikarigaoka or Makino Memorial Garden as separate train outings.
