Hi, I’m Tabi!
Western Tokyo’s Akiruno offers a river valley, suspension bridge and hot-spring surroundings. Choose the bridge or spa area first; historic autumn photographs do not show current foliage.
This guide covers places within Akiruno, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop
Ishibune Bridge
石舟橋
A pedestrian suspension bridge over the Aki River with valley views. The photograph dates from November 2012. Check current access and weather and stay inside the railings.
Getting there Check buses toward Jurigi from Musashi-Itsukaichi station
A bathing facility and local-products stop in a natural valley setting. Bathing is optional and separate from walking. A closure-day change notice means older weekly schedules should not be assumed current.
Getting there Check Seoto-no-Yu bus-stop service and return journeys
A historic temple featured in the city’s walking guide. Respect worship rules around its large ginkgo trees. Seasonal foliage varies; check its route separately from the bridge and spa.
Getting there Check the temple route in the Kowada area
The city’s walking guide features oyaki at Seoto-no-Yu’s local-products shop. Check the filling’s ingredients and current availability; prices and stock are not guaranteed.
Try the Jurigi area → an accessible section around Ishibune Bridge, following maps and current signs. Plan bathing and Kotokuji separately if preferred.
