Tonogayato Garden
殿ヶ谷戸庭園
A strolling garden using slopes and springs, designated a national scenic site. The photo shows its entrance in 2020. Check current paid entry and choose paths suited to steps and slopes.
Getting there Approach from south of JR and Seibu Kokubunji station
A national historic site preserving traces of an ancient temple. The photo shows the site marker area in 2021, rather than an intact ancient temple. Follow public visitor areas and explanatory signs.
Getting there Check access to the historic-site area in Nishimotomachi
Excavated tiles and materials introduce temple history. The museum is inside Otakanomichi Yusuien; check garden admission and museum access separately from the surrounding historic park.
Getting there Check the Yusuien entrance at 1-13-10 Nishimotomachi
Kokuvege is a local agricultural brand featuring vegetables and fruit grown in Kokubunji, rather than one variety or dish. Check current products and ingredients at farm shops or participating eateries.
Try south of Kokubunji station → Tonogayato Garden’s entrance. Check entry and sloping paths, saving the ruins and museum for a separate outing if preferred.
