Hi, I’m Tabi!

In northwestern Tokyo, Kiyose offers waterside parks, woodland and local farming stories. Choose one park or the folk museum first, rather than walking all the stops at once.

This guide covers places within Kiyose, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Kanayama Green Park

清瀬金山緑地公園

A park with water channels, a pond and woodland. The weeping-cherry photograph dates from March 2019, not an October bloom report. Explore on designated paths.

Getting there
Check park entrances and return buses on the map

02

A first-visit stop

Kiyose City Folk Museum

清瀬市郷土博物館

A municipal museum introducing local history, folk culture and community heritage. Choose an indoor exhibition separately from the park, checking current exhibitions and closures.

Getting there
Check transport to Kamikiyoto 2-6-41

03

A first-visit stop

Kiyose Seseragi Park

清瀬せせらぎ公園

A park along a restored former Karabori River channel and woodland. Its learning building no longer opens routinely; do not plan on interior access. Follow railings and signs.

Getting there
Check access from the Nakazato Danchi bus stop

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Carrot jam made with Kiyose carrots is highlighted as a local specialty. Consider a small gift, checking current sellers and ingredients.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try Kanayama Green Park entrance → a short waterside path chosen on the park map. Check separate transport for the museum and other park.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
