Hi, I’m Tabi!
In Tokyo’s Tama area, Inagi offers canal walks, woodland and pear-growing history. Start at Omaru’s waterway or Shiroyama Park, planning Hirao’s exhibition separately.
This guide covers places within Inagi, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop
Omaru Shinsui Park
大丸親水公園
Small parks and walking spaces follow a waterway connected with agricultural irrigation. The photograph shows an Omaru Canal junction and the park in 2005. Respect waterside railings and residential paths.
Getting there Check park routes from JR Inagi-Naganuma or Minami-Tama station
A park with natural woodland paths and lawns. Choose paths suited to its slopes. Fine Tower has seasonal and designated opening days, rather than unrestricted year-round access.
Getting there Check Minami-Tama station or Shiroyama Park South bus stop
Displays introduce farming tools, pear cultivation and local everyday culture. This indoor stop is in Hirao; plan transport separately from Omaru’s park.
Getting there Check opening information and transport for Hirao 1-9-1
Inagi pears are a specialty highlighted by the city. Farm stalls sell them during harvest, with varieties and quantities varying. Check current growers’ information; an October visit does not guarantee availability.
Try Minami-Tama station → a selected Omaru waterside stretch, keeping to accessible paths. Plan Shiroyama Park separately if preferred after checking slopes.
