Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore different chapters of Yoshinogawa history at Fujiidera and the exterior of Kawashima Castle. Plan transport between the two locations.

This guide covers places within Yoshinogawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Main hall of Fujiidera in Yoshinogawa01

A first-visit stop

Fujiidera Temple

藤井寺

Temple 11 on the Shikoku pilgrimage, with its main hall shown. Distinguish it from the Osaka namesake and respect worshippers. The mountain route to the next temple is not a short stroll.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

Exterior of the modern Kawashima Castle building02

A first-visit stop

Kawashima Castle Exterior

川島城(外観)

A reinforced-concrete building opened in 1981, not a surviving historic keep. The city lists it as closed in principle since April 2019. Do not enter; view the exterior only from permitted public areas.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The city’s brand guide features sweet corn from Kawashima. As fresh produce, it depends on harvest season and shop availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
