Hi, I’m Tabi!

Yachimata is a Chiba city known for peanut growing. Begin with a pause in a park near the station and a look at local peanuts. Agricultural work areas are not automatically open to visitors.

This guide covers places within Yachimata, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Keyaki-no-Mori Park

けやきの森公園

An urban park with zelkova trees and grass. Protect the trees and pause on public paths or lawns. The photograph shows a festival in August 2023; the same stage or event is not necessarily present during an ordinary visit.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Yachimata Central Park

八街中央公園

A park near the station for an everyday pause. Relax in public spaces while considering other users. Its tennis court has separate application and use conditions; do not assume unrestricted access.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Peanut drying stacks in a Yachimata field in 2012
Peanut production and drying in Yachimata; not a finished dish or an invitation to a visitor farm. Do not enter fields without permission.

The city introduces Yachimata-grown peanuts as a regional brand. Check origins and ingredients when buying roasted peanuts, and consider peanut allergies. The photograph shows peanut drying in Yachimata in 2012, rather than a ready-to-eat dish or a farm open for visitor activities.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
