Hi, I’m Tabi!

Narashino in Chiba combines wetland scenery, roses and a historic thatched home. Start around Yatsu; the Mimomi residence needs separate transport and a closure check.

This guide covers places within Narashino, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Yatsu Tidal Flat

谷津干潟

A Ramsar wetland surviving within the city, with changing tides and visiting migratory birds. Watch quietly from surrounding park paths without entering the mudflat. The photograph shows sunset in 2019.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The city’s specialty guide lists local carrots, carrot cookies and juice. Consider them as snacks or gifts, checking ingredients and current availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Choose Yatsu Tidal Flat or Yatsu Rose Garden first. Check open areas and return transport, without forcing separated destinations into a single walk.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
