Hi, I’m Tabi!
Motono is the former village merged into Inzai on 23 March 2010. This page preserves the app’s legacy regional identifier and covers places in Kasagami, Ryufukuji and Tsunoda. Choose swan watching or temples according to season and transport.
This guide covers places within Motono, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Motono Swan Wintering Area
本埜白鳥の郷
Swans visit the flooded fields in winter. The photo shows January 2007, rather than a year-round sight. Local records report the final flock’s departure in spring 2026. Respect field boundaries and avoid approaching or feeding birds.
Getting there Check local swan updates and the approach before visiting
A temple in former Motono associated with a bell thought to date from the medieval period. The 2020 photo shows temple architecture, rather than the bell or indoor access. Check permitted visitor areas locally.
Getting there Use the current address, 626 Ryufukuji, Inzai
A thatched Buddhist hall in former Motono’s Tsunoda district, designated an Important Cultural Property. City records identify its completion in 1472. The photo shows the exterior in 2014; do not assume indoor areas or images are always open.
Getting there Use the current address, 2 Tsunoda, Inzai
Inzai’s current local-products guide includes rice crackers made in Kasagami, part of former Motono. Flavors and preparation vary. Check ingredients and availability; this is not a shop endorsement or a guarantee of current menus.
Try Motono Post Office → Ryufukuji, consulting the city walking map and using public roads. Follow worship guidance. Check separate transport and access for the swan area and Eifukuji, using current Inzai addresses in map searches.
