Hi, I’m Tabi!
Kamogawa combines Pacific coastal scenery with inland rice fields. Begin by the station-area coast if preferred. Plan separate transport for Oyama Senmaida and choose the lookout climb to suit your pace.
This guide covers places within Kamogawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Oyama Senmaida Rice Terraces
大山千枚田
Terraced rice fields follow the hillside. The photo shows July 2013; colors change through planting and harvest. These are working fields, so use designated viewing paths without entering the paddies.
Getting there Check separate transport from central Kamogawa to the terraces
A curved sandy coastline in front of the town, suited to a seaside pause. The photo dates from 2011 and does not indicate swimming operations. Keep away from the water during high waves or restrictions.
Getting there Check the coast approach from JR Awa-Kamogawa station
A hillside lookout over the coast and town. Official guidance links its name with fishermen watching for offshore shoals. Choose the climb according to the weather and your ability.
Getting there Check the approach through Uomizuka Issenba Park
Oraga-don refers to shop-specific rice bowls featuring local ingredients, rather than one fixed recipe. Fish, meat and other toppings vary. Check current menus and prices instead of relying on older guidebook listings.
Try Awa-Kamogawa station → marked paths by Maebara Coast. Check weather and waves and pause in safe pedestrian areas. Save the lookout and terraces for separate outings if preferred.
