Hi, I’m Tabi!

Oyama in Tochigi offers shrines, castle remains and Omoigawa scenery. Start from JR Oyama Station and choose open areas. This is distinct from Oyama Town in Shizuoka.

This guide covers places within Oyama, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Oyama udon is promoted using local wheat and water. An older brochure’s shop list does not guarantee current operation; check availability, ingredients and allergens.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Choose open areas around Suga Shrine or Shiroyama Park. Check transport and your return journey, avoiding routes through closed areas.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
