Hi, I’m Tabi!
Fujinomiya introduces Mount Fuji through faith, water and local food. You need not climb: start at the town shrine and heritage centre, then plan the falls separately.
This guide covers places within Fujinomiya, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Three places to begin
Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop
Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha
富士山本宮浅間大社
A shrine connected with Mount Fuji worship. Explore the grounds and Wakutama Pond quietly; the photo shows the city shrine’s worship hall, not the summit shrine.
Getting there Check the approach from JR Fujinomiya station
A broad curtain of falls fed by Mount Fuji’s water. This is Shiraito Falls in Fujinomiya. Plan transport from town and take care on wet paths and steps.
Getting there Check bus guidance from Fujinomiya station toward the falls
An exhibition centre exploring Mount Fuji’s nature, culture and faith. Learn about the mountain without undertaking a climb, checking current exhibition and entry information.
Getting there Check the approach in the town centre near Sengen Taisha
A dish example photographed in 2008. The restaurant and current menu or prices are unverified; this is not a shop recommendation.
Fujinomiya yakisoba is a local stir-fried noodle dish listed by the tourism association, including at Omiya Yokocho between the shrine and heritage centre. Check ingredients and availability.
Try Fujinomiya station → the heritage centre → Sengen Taisha. Choose one stop if preferred; leave Shiraito Falls for an outing with bus and return arrangements checked.
