Hi, I’m Tabi!

Susono in Shizuoka offers waterfalls and a historic farmhouse. Begin around Central Park; the city advises verifying its street address because navigation searches can point elsewhere.

This guide covers places within Susono, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Three places to begin

Three places with different atmospheres. Start with the one that appeals to you instead of visiting them all.

A first-visit stop

Central Park and Goryu Falls

中央公園 五竜の滝

See Goryu Falls from the park’s visitor areas. The 2005 photo shows the three streams of Odaki, rather than all five falls. Stay on designated paths and out of the riverbed and restricted areas.

Getting there
Use the Senpuku 7-1 address to verify the navigation destination

02

A first-visit stop

Former Uematsu House

旧植松家住宅

A historic thatched farmhouse within Central Park. Explore earlier ways of life through its structure, checking public areas and current group or indoor visiting rules.

Getting there
Follow house signs inside Central Park

03

A first-visit stop

Kairakuen and Fudo Falls

偕楽園 不動の滝

A waterfall and green setting in Chabatake, separate from Central Park. Plan transport independently, follow local restrictions and watch your footing by the water.

Getting there
Verify the park location at Chabatake 665

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

A dish example, not a shop endorsement or guarantee of current menus or prices.

Susono water gyoza features wrappers containing powdered molokhia. The city guide describes a filling with vegetables, pork and local tea leaves. Check each product’s ingredients, allergens and availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the park entrance → designated waterfall viewing areas → the Uematsu House area. Check opening and public areas, return on marked paths, plan Kairakuen separately and do not use fire in the park.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check current entry rules, opening information and return transport.
  • Choose an outing suited to steps, slopes and weather.
  • Respect worship spaces and photography rules; check food ingredients at the shop.
