Hi, I’m Tabi!
Oyama Town is in Shizuoka, distinct from Oyama City in Tochigi. Subashiri and the eastern parks are separate areas; choose one and arrange transport first.
This guide covers places within Oyama Town, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop
Subashiri Sengen Shrine
冨士浅間神社
A shrine in Subashiri introducing worship at the foot of Mount Fuji, photographed in 2007. Seasonal blossoms vary; follow guidance and visit quietly.
Getting there Check buses or other transport to Subashiri
A park with Homon Kaikan and a Western-style building. The former was relocated from Tokyo, adding industrial heritage; check indoor access separately from a park walk.
Getting there Check access to the park in Fujimagari
A park associated with the local Kintaro birth legend, with a shrine and grassy spaces. The story is a regional legend; visiting the park is separate from a mountain hike.
Getting there Check transport to the Nakajima area
Official local-product guidance lists Kintaro sable biscuits using regional rice flour. Products sharing the Kintaro name differ in ingredients and makers; check labels and availability.
Try the Subashiri shrine entrance → permitted grounds. This is a shrine visit, not a Mount Fuji climb; arrange separate transport for Homon or Kintoki Park.
