Hi, I’m Tabi!

This guide covers the former Oigawa town area, now part of Yaizu. Enjoy harbour scenery and a park while staying outside working quays and restricted areas.

This guide covers places within Oigawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Oigawa Port

大井川港

A harbour built on the left-bank coast of the Oi River mouth. The ship photograph records an arrival, not a visitor boarding experience. View the harbour only from permitted public areas.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Oigawa Port Rinko Minami Park

大井川港臨港南公園

A park for a short break near the harbour, listed by the tourism association as a cherry-blossom walking spot. Blooms depend on season and weather. Stay clear of port operations.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Sakura at Oigawa Port is a fishery cooperative restaurant offering sakura shrimp and whitebait. Raw seafood and particular dishes depend on catches and stock; check before visiting.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
