The official tourism guide features Mishima’s eel dishes, including sauce-grilled eel with rice. Check origins, ingredients and current menus without assuming the eel was caught in local rivers.
Try Mishima station → public streets around the Genbei River. Avoid entering the water during high levels or restrictions and choose adjacent streets. Check garden and shrine visits separately.
