Hi, I’m Tabi!

Discover Mount Oyorogi, shared with Shobara in Hiroshima, and Akana Hachimangu in Iinan. A mountain hike differs from a short level walk; check the Iinan-side trailheads. The whole mountain is not claimed as exclusively within Iinan.

This guide covers places within Iinan, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Iinan-Side Access to Mount Oyorogi

大万木山の飯南側からのアクセス

The photograph shows the mountain from its southeastern side in Shobara, Hiroshima, not an Iinan trail. Check current access to Iinan-side trailheads such as Kadosaka separately. Prepare equipment, weather plans and return time; the image is not a route to its camera viewpoint.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Akana Hachimangu Shrine

赤穴八幡宮

The tourism association introduces the traditions and history of this shrine in Kamiakana. It is separate from the mountain panorama above. Read legends as traditions, respect worshippers and stay in public grounds.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Akagi Kogen Tourist Apple Orchard offers apple-picking experiences in Iinan. Varieties, opening periods and reservations may depend on the year’s crop. Check current admission and sales directly before visiting.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
