Hi, I’m Tabi!
Visit the worship hall and entrance torii at Tamawakasu-mikoto Shrine in Okinoshima Town. These are two stops within one shrine, not sites across the Oki Islands. Arrange transport from the port separately.
This guide covers places within Okinoshima, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Tamawakasu-mikoto Shrine Worship Hall
玉若酢命神社の拝殿
The image shows the worship hall, not the main sanctuary. The shrine is in Shimonishi, Okinoshima Town. Respect worshippers, stay in public areas and check interior access and ceremonies separately.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
The photograph shows the entrance torii of the same shrine, close to the worship hall. This older image does not guarantee current path conditions. Follow access notices and keep the worship route clear.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Sazae-meshi, rice prepared with turban shell, is part of Oki’s regional food culture rather than exclusive to Okinoshima Town. Check shellfish ingredients, seasonings and current availability with the restaurant.
