Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore Konsho-ji’s woodland setting and Ohno Shrine in Ritto. Check transport between the two separately; this guide does not present them as a single short walking route.

This guide covers places within Ritto, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Moss-covered bridge in Konsho-ji’s woods01

A first-visit stop

Konsho-ji Temple

金勝寺

The photograph shows a moss-covered bridge and woodland path at Konsho-ji in Arahari, distinct from the temple of the same name in Aichi. Watch for wet stones and steps, and check current access and statue-viewing arrangements.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

Torii and gate at Ohno Shrine02

A first-visit stop

Ohno Shrine

大野神社

The image shows the torii and the gate behind it. The official guide places this shrine at the foot of Mount Konze. Access during events may differ from an ordinary visit; keep worshippers’ routes clear and stay in public areas.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Funazushi is a Shiga regional food made by fermenting crucian carp with rice, rather than a dish exclusive to this area. Its aroma and acidity can be strong; try a small serving and check ingredients and availability.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
