Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore lakeside and old-town scenery around Nagahama Castle and Kurokabe in Shiga. Both stops are in the central area within the original app GID.

This guide covers places within Nagahama, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

The present castle-style building was reconstructed in 1983 as a history museum, rather than surviving unchanged from medieval times. Check admission, closures and photography rules for its exhibitions and observation area.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
