Hi, I’m Tabi!

This is Misato town in Kodama district, Saitama, distinct from Misato city in the prefecture’s east. Explore local culture at the Inomata Hyakuhatto site and Iseki no Mori Museum.

This guide covers places within Misato, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Inomata Hyakuhatto Site

猪俣の百八燈の場所

The small earth mounds at Domaeyama form a cultural site used for a fire ceremony. The photograph shows it by day; fires are not lit every night. Check event arrangements and otherwise observe from permitted surrounding paths without climbing the mounds.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Misato Iseki no Mori Museum

美里町遺跡の森館

A complex in Kibe with exhibition rooms and a multipurpose hall. Hall bookings and exhibition visits have different hours and arrangements. Check displays and closures; it is not an unrestricted hands-on archaeological site.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Blueberries are a town specialty associated with summer visitor farms. Distinguish seasonal fresh fruit from processed products and confirm sales or bookings with growers. Picking is not unrestricted entry into farmland; check varieties and allergens too.
