Hi, I’m Tabi!
Former Kisai became part of present-day Kazo in the 2010 merger. This guide covers Tamashiki Shrine and Kisai Castle within the app’s original Kisai GID, rather than the whole of Kazo.
This guide covers places within Kisai area, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Tamashiki Shrine
玉敷神社
Its current address is Kisai, Kazo. The image shows the worship hall and approach; flowers and kagura performances are not always available. Respect worshippers, stay within permitted areas and check event dates separately.

The photographed tower is a modern mock keep, not a historically exact reconstruction. The city describes the original castle as a single-story residence. Indoor opening days and hours are limited; plan exterior viewing and exhibition entry separately.

Kazo promotes handmade udon, with Kisai-area shops included in its official list. This is not a claim that the dish is exclusive to former Kisai. Check current menus, opening days and wheat or broth allergens with the restaurant.
