Hi, I’m Tabi!
Ageo combines daily life along the JR Takasaki Line with green parkland to the west. Choose a station-area shrine walk or Maruyama Park first, checking transport to the park.
This guide covers places within Ageo, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Ageo Maruyama Park
上尾丸山公園
A park of waterside greenery and seasonal flowers. The hero shows its landscaped pond in 2020; the card shows the entrance of the same park. Photographs are not current bloom reports.
Getting there Check park-bound buses from the west side of JR Ageo station
A facility supporting activities that explore local nature, history and culture. Check current use arrangements alongside a park outing. Group room use has separate conditions; do not assume unrestricted exhibition access.
Getting there Check official facility-use information around the park
Ageo skewered gyoza is a local food brand promoted by the city. The 2024 revised guidance allows varied fillings including meat or fish while retaining a skewer. Check the specific ingredients and current menu at each shop.
Try the east side of Ageo station → Hikawa Kuwa Shrine. Keep the walk near the station, and plan the park and learning center separately after checking transport and use conditions.
