Introduced as a Confucian temple completed in 1708. The 2011 exterior photo does not imply that the interior is always open. Check spring and autumn ceremonies and separate viewing arrangements; do not obstruct rituals or enter no-photography areas.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
Explore the garden’s pond and trees. The October 2016 photo does not promise current autumn colours or flowers. Museums and historic buildings have separate entry arrangements. Follow designated paths and take care beside the pond and restricted areas.
