Hi, I’m Tabi!

Katano is a city in Osaka combining woodland and residential areas. Visit Hoshida’s pedestrian suspension bridge and Hatamono Shrine separately. The path from Kisaichi Station is currently closed; check current routes rather than following older access instructions.

This guide covers places within Katano, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

星のブランコ(ほしだの森)

A pedestrian suspension bridge above woodland. The photo dates to December 2019. The riverside path from Kisaichi Station is closed. For vehicle navigation, search for Hoshida Enchi Parking rather than the bridge, and check permitted paths and bridge access on the day.

Hatamono Shrine torii and worship hall in 200802

A first-visit stop

Hatamono Shrine

機物神社

Official tourism guidance introduces a shrine associated with Tanabata. The 2008 photo is an exterior view, not a current festival scene. Guidance says the main sanctuary interior is closed except on special days; respect permitted worship areas.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The city’s regional brand guide includes castella made with cherry-blossom honey collected in Katano. Not every similar cake uses honey from the same origin. Check the ingredients, allergens and current availability of the product you choose.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Your first steps in the park

After arriving at the parking area, check the management office and paths open that day. Do not bypass the closure on the Kisaichi Station side.

Directions to the parking area

This link is for vehicle access to the official parking area. It does not route vehicles onto the bridge; check current restrictions first.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
