Hi, I’m Tabi!

Izumi in Osaka offers reconstructed settlement scenery and art. Check access from JR Shinodayama Station for the park and separate connections to the museum. Choose stops according to transport and returns rather than assuming one walk.

This guide covers places within Izumi, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Ikegami-Sone Historic Park

池上曽根史跡公園

A park preserving a Yayoi-period settlement. The March 2007 photo shows a modern reconstruction, not a surviving ancient building. The site spans Izumi and Izumiotsu; check public areas and weather-related restrictions.

02

A first-visit stop

Kuboso Memorial Museum of Arts

久保惣記念美術館

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official guidance introduces Izumi mikan, satsuma mandarins grown in the city’s south. Check origin, season and availability when choosing them.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
