Hi, I’m Tabi!

Onna is a village on Okinawa Island’s west coast. Visit Manzamo’s cliffs and Cape Maeda’s sea views separately. Land viewpoints and activities in the water have different access conditions; check guidance on the day.

This guide covers places within Onna, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Cape Maeda

真栄田岬

A cape known for views, diving and snorkeling. The 2012 photo shows a landscape from land, not the inside of the Blue Cave. You can enjoy views without swimming; check sea conditions, access and equipment guidance.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The village fisheries cooperative introduces aasa and mozuku seaweeds. Check origin, processing, seasonings and allergen labels. Not every product with the same name uses ingredients from Onna Village.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
