Hi, I’m Tabi!

Nago is a city in northern Okinawa Island. Plan separate visits for Nangusuku Park’s views and marine observation at Busena Marine Park. Kouri Island belongs to Nakijin, so it is excluded from this Nago guide. Check operating conditions on your visiting day.

This guide covers places within Nago, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

01 · EXPLORE

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

A first-visit stop

Busena Marine Park

ブセナ海中公園

A facility with an underwater observatory and glass-bottom boats. The photograph shows the observatory walkway in 2009. Temporary closure dates are announced for October and November 2026, and sea conditions can also stop operations; check the latest guidance.

Getting there

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The tourism association introduces soki soba, noodles topped with pork ribs, as a regional dish. Check each shop’s meat, broth, seasonings, allergens and current menu. Being a regional dish does not guarantee that every ingredient originates in Nago.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
