Kasaoka Horseshoe Crab Museum
笠岡市立カブトガニ博物館
A museum devoted to horseshoe crabs. The silver rounded roof across the water is the museum in April 2007; the larger building on the left is a hospital. This is not an interior or dinosaur-model photograph. Check current admission information.
Getting there Check the current approach and return transport on the map.
A roadside station on reclaimed land. This August 2011 photograph shows the building exterior, rather than a flower field. Check current opening days and separate notices about flower-field access and blooms.

The local tourism association introduces Kasaoka ramen featuring chicken broth and chicken. Recipes vary by shop; ask about wheat, soy sauce, stock and topping ingredients.
Resized, metadata removed and converted to WebP; display crops vary by screen. Adapted CC BY-SA photos retain the original license.
Photos are historical material dated in the credits, not a guarantee of present scenery or operation. Places without photos use decorative name panels.
