Hi, I’m Tabi!

Yuzawa is a mountain and hot-spring town in Niigata, with Echigo-Yuzawa Station as a useful starting point. It is distinct from Yuzawa City in Akita. Choose the highland park and local snow-country museum as separate visits.

This guide covers places within Yuzawa, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The highland operator describes dishes using Niigata pork and Koshihikari rice at Edelweiss. Seasonal menus and opening conditions can change. Distinguish prefectural origin from production in Yuzawa Town and confirm the current ingredients before ordering.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check the walking route

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
