Hi, I’m Tabi!

Explore an old temple in Hiso and a pear-growing landscape in Oyodo. Respect farm boundaries and residential access.

This guide covers places within Oyodo, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

Two places to begin

Two different places: start with whichever interests you.

Approach and buildings of Seson-ji, Hiso, Oyodo, in April 201101

A first-visit stop

Seson-ji Temple / Hiso-dera Site

世尊寺(比曽寺跡)

A temple in Hiso, distinct from a similarly named Tokyo temple. The April 2011 photograph shows its approach, buildings and cherry trees. Treat Shotoku stories as traditions and check current bloom, visiting and photography guidance. It does not establish image rights for statues or interiors.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02

A first-visit stop

Oada Plateau, Oyodo Side

大阿太高原(大淀町側)

Pear-growing scenery around Sanate and Kusurimizu is listed as town heritage. The plateau extends toward Gojo, but this guide concerns its Oyodo section. Check farm-specific booking and access conditions and stay out of private fields. Its panel is decorative.

Getting there
Check the current approach and return transport on the map.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

The town promotes Nijisseiki pears from the Oada Plateau. Harvest and sales seasons differ by variety, and October stock or picking experiences are not guaranteed. Check booking and availability directly with farms.

03 · YOUR FIRST WALK

Keep your first walk simple

Try the first destination’s permitted entrance → public areas. Choose the other stop after checking separate transport and access.

Check directions

Check actual distances and travel times on the map. This suggested walk is separate from your app movement record.

Before you set off

  • Check entry arrangements and return transport first.
  • Choose one stop to suit weather, slopes and local restrictions.
  • Respect private areas and photography rules; check food ingredients locally.
