Hi, I’m Tabi!

Isahaya in Nagasaki offers a historic park bridge and mountain gorge. Check connections from Isahaya Station to the park and your return. Plan the gorge separately because transport and restrictions differ.

This guide covers places within Isahaya, rather than places immediately beside your app check-in.

A first-visit stop

Todoroki Gorge

轟峡

A gorge of streams and waterfalls flowing from the Tara mountains. The photograph shows Todoroki Falls in October 2006. The city announced partial reopening after the August 2026 earthquake; check current restrictions and weather and visit only permitted areas.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Official tourism guidance introduces eel as local food. Rakuyaki eel is grilled and then finished by steaming in a distinctive vessel. Check each shop’s preparation, sauce, current availability and allergens.
