Hi, I’m Tabi!

Former Emukae joined Sasebo in 2010; this guide follows the old town area. Explore a historic honjin mansion and Jufukuji Temple for local history and seasonal scenery.

This guide covers former Emukae within present-day Sasebo, rather than the entire city or places beside your check-in.

02

A first-visit stop

Jufukuji Temple

The temple is known for limited-season views of autumn leaves and early-summer greenery reflected indoors. Ordinary worship and special openings may have different conditions. Check the year’s official dates and visitor arrangements.

02 · A LITTLE BITE

What could you try?

Senryu Brewery also offers pickles made with sake lees. They are a possible souvenir linked to Emukae’s brewing culture. Ask about stock, ingredients and alcohol content before buying.
